About Luke

Hi, I’m Luke McCord, a fee-only Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and the founder of Greenway Financial Planning. I was born and raised in Atlanta, and I still live in the North Atlanta area with my wife and children.
 
An Eagle Scout and proud Georgia Tech graduate (Class of 2000), I learned early the value of integrity, hard work, and serving others. Those lessons continue to shape how I run my practice today. I’m a Christian, a husband, and a father — and I bring those values into my work every day.

At Greenway Financial Planning, we provide clear, professional financial planning and investment management to individuals and families across Alpharetta, Cumming, Forsyth County, and the broader North Atlanta area. We specialize in helping growing families and pre-retirees with practical matters such as:

There are no asset minimums and no long-term contracts. My goal is simple: deliver honest, fiduciary advice that helps you gain clarity and confidence with your money — without pressure or complexity.

I’m openly Christian, and my faith is an important part of who I am. I especially enjoy working with clients who share similar values. That said, the planning itself is straightforward and practical. You won’t get preached to — just competent, personalized guidance tailored to your real-life goals and situation.
 
I take time to truly listen and understand what matters most to you and your family. Whether you’re focused on building a secure retirement, saving for your children’s future, or simply creating more peace around money, I help you make clear, confident decisions. My role is to simplify the complex parts of financial planning so you can focus on living your life with purpose.

Giving

I’m passionate about the community that raised me. Locally, I stay involved with North Atlanta churches and groups. I also support Jungle Kids for Christ, an organization that helps children in Ecuador break the cycle of poverty through education, nutrition, and hope.
